In this newly created position, Knockaert will oversee operations in both regions, combining his current responsibilities. Deceuninck has committed to setting ambitious emission reduction targets following the initiative of the SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative). Likewise, Deceuninck has joined the "Business Ambition 1.5ºC" campaign together with a group of companies worldwide aligned with the "Paris Climate Agreement Objective" to limit global warming to 1.5°C. Deceuninck committed to the SBTi targets in February 2022, following the carbon emissions inventory developed in 2021.
