Regulatory requirements are becoming increasingly stringent. From 2024, thermal regulations will require hospitals, schools, and homes to have thermopane windows to improve energy efficiency. In hospitals, the OGUC establishes minimum percentages of glazed surface area and airtightness conditions in critical areas. In all cases, the glass must be safe (tempered or laminated) and the materials must be able to withstand intensive cleaning and the passage of time.
